Big Brother 26: Update #3

We pick up following Matt’s eviction and OMGOMGANGELA is ecstatic about it (2 points for “Speak in opening vignette to Brian!).  I can’t wait to see Karma kick her straight in the teeth.  While his dear, departed ally is shown in gray Kenney lets us know that others love the game more than him. (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” to Carol!) and (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Teresa!).  Kimo is also ecstatic but for a good reason – he won the AI comp – while Tucker thinks Lisa is a snake because she voted for Matt to stay and lied about it, which Lisa confirms to us (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Demi!). Makensy finishes the open by…hugging Angela who wants everyone to know it was just a game move.

Does this look like a game move to you?

Lisa and Chelsie talk about the Matt vote while doing the liar’s dance,

Liar's Dance, def: The moment in a reality competition where both parties know the other is lying but neither calls the other out.  Lisa knows she’s lying. Chelsie doesn’t believe a word of it but lets her dig her hole deeper while telling us

Chelsie isn't having any of it

In the pantry, T’Kor and Kimo do the “Don’t Underestimate Kimo” rap.  Slim Shady doesn’t have anything to worry about from these two.

Still a better story than Twilight

Meanwhile, Makensy and Leah convince themselves Matt was too good to be allowed to stay and question if the Barbershop alliance is legit (spoiler alert: it’s not).  (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Teresa), (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Teresa!) and (1 point each for for “Mention ‘I have to win << comp name >> to Carol and Teresa!).

It’s a “Watch a video, answer True or False” HOH comp and Angela feels like a target.  First things she’s said that hasn’t been batshit crazy. (5 bonus points if you get that movie reference! Text me privately with your guesses! Each incorrect guess subtracts 1 from the bonus. No, you can’t go negative ðŸ˜Š. Hint: It’s a Marvel movie line).  Anyway, Chelsie is only half-heartedly playing, not really caring if she wins while Leah and T’Kor are gunning for the title.  In the end Chelsie guesses right enough times to take home the HOH! (5 points for “Win HOH” to Viviana!) which brings Leah to tears since this is the 2nd HOH in which she’s been close but no cigar. (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Carol!)

Sorry Leah. If only you'd practiced just a bit harder!

It’s now time to play “I seriously hope I didn’t piss off the HOH!" Angela doesn’t know where she stands, Makensy is happy she has her Veto power and Cam quickly suggests Makensy, Leah and either Lisa or Kenney as nominations while Chelsie also sees Angela as an easy nomination.  She also tells Tucker he’s not a target, and the Jim Carey/James Franco clone reminds us that Lisa is an annoying, narcissistic look-at-me try-hard who’s also a jerk about being a chef.

Not-so-bold prediction: Lisa doesn't have Tucker's jury vote

Kimo and Chelsie have a chat about how living in and around the church conflicts with the LGBT lifestyle (Kimo for himself, Chelsie for a family member), which leads Kimo to tears and me to feel like they are bonding. (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Tessa!).  Cam, Chelsie and Cedric begin to coalesce into an alliance and look for numbers in Quinn and Brooklyn. (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Joe!).  Quinn is already in several alliances but knows better than to hesitate.  Brooklyn is worried that she’s the 5th person in a new 5 person alliance, but that’s a problem for another day.  Together, Cam, Cedric, Chelsie, Quinn and Brooklyn form The Pentagon (3 points for “Name an alliance” to Viviana!), (6 points for “Be part of an officially named alliance” to  Viviana, 3 points each to Demi, Joe and Tessa!)

In her HOH conversations, Chelsie tells Angela she doesn’t want to send her home, but Chelsie knows Angela must go up. (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Brian!). Chelsie must have probed everyone about the secret powers, but when she grills Makensy, the construction project manager breaks Rule #1 and gives up her secret without getting an alliance or promise of safety in return.  Chelsie isn’t sure if this means she should ally with Makensy or put her up.

The Pentagon meet in the HOH room and Cam wants to figure out how to expose the power ups. Quinn, the owner of the Deepfake HOH, keeps his mouth shut as he realizes that coming clean now means no one will ever believe him again.

At the nomination ceremony, it’s Kenney and Lisa on the block for the 2nd straight week but this time it’s Angela sitting next to them! Way to go, Chelsie!  (3 points each for “Nominated for eviction” to Teresa, Demi and Brian!). On the way ouf of the episode, Lisa reminds us that she’ll always bring the glitter and sparkle.

We know. That’s why you’re sitting on the block.

So what does that mean for the scoring?

Carol’s lead shrinks to 5 over Demi, thanks to Quinn’s alliances and Lisa’s antics but watch out for Viviana who, thank to Chelsie’s HOH win and her alliance with Brooklyn, scores a15 point jump putting her in 3rd!   Brian leapfrogs Tessa into 4th with Teresa only a point behind her daughter!

  1. Carol    35
  2. Demi    30
  3. Viviana 29
  4. Brian     26
  5. Tessa    24
  6. Theresa 23
  7. Joe         13
  8. Evan      11
