Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:
Second, 10 points to both Carol and Marissa for finding
both bonus points in the last update!
We start off with dearly departed Quinn talking to his crush
SlayZeeAh (2 points each for “Speak in the opening vignette” to Jen and
Ricky!). Chelsie feels bad for
voting him out but it was the wise move (1 point for “Shown on camera in
gray” to Jen!). Kimo feels like a
man saved from Death Row for the 2nd time, while Makensy has no remorse – he did nominate
her after all. SlayZeeAh, on the wrong
side of the vote for the 2nd straight week, is now ally-less (1
point for “Shown on camera in gray” to Roberta!) and blames Makensy for it (1
point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Ricky!).
Cam, Chelsie and Makensy recount how Godzilla was angry at
the vote when she stomps in….and claims she wanted Quinn to go but didn’t know
how the votes fell. Chelsie says it’s
the same song every week with her.
With 8 people left, it looks like there are two trios (T’Kor,
Kimo and Rubina), (Cam, Chelsie and Makensy) and two floaters (SlayZeeAh and
Godzilla). I’m not sure who that makes
the most powerful in the house. I guess it depends on who wins HOH.
Not content to stomp on one trio, Godzilla stomps in on T’Kors
trio thinking they’re talking about her. 5 bonus points if you text me the word
paranoid. Tell no one else. Offer good until the next update is posted. She’s
wrong, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being made a fool of, again. When T’Kor says Godzilla is at the bottom of
everyone’s list, she’s right.
The houseguests are called to the living room by Ainsley’s replacement JANKIE. It’s time to go to the backyard for pizza, ice cream, singing and dancing! FOR THE WHOLE WEEK!
He locks them out and tells them they must dance whenever he calls them. And they have to sing his theme song which is torturous. #ButFirst they need to determine who is the HOH. Standing on a pedestal, they hold a stick to a marshmallow pressed against a graham cracker. Last person to drop wins HOH. As she sees it, this is a must-win for SlayZeeAh who will be nominated by either trio (1 point for “Mention ‘I need to win HOH’” to Ricky!).
Pre-game favorite
T’Kor is out in 30 minutes, but as long as Kimo and Rubina stay up she feels
safe (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Marissa!). Kimo falls 2nd and Makensy 3rd while Godzilla
stands firm and unsuccessfully negotiates at the 5-hour mark. Bored, T’Kor asks
her only remaining ally Rubina how to say 5 hours in her language. Thinking,
Rubina loses concentration on the marshmallow, and it falls, sending Rubina to
tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Marissa!).
Godzilla, SlayZeeAh and The Warrior remain, and publicly promise
not to nominate each other next week.
Believing she’s safe with either winner, Godzilla drops intentionally at
the 9h 45m mark. The Warrior, eager to get the contest over, suggests the
remaining two should battle it out on one leg. This drives Chelsie crazy, as
she sees herself safe with Cam and a target otherwise. 10 minutes later, The Warrior drops leaving
SlayZeeAh with her first HOH (5 points for “Win HOH” to Ricky!) and (1
point for “Shown on camera crying” to Ricky!).
Kimo, Chelsie, and Makensy are now suddenly willing to work
with SlayZeeAh. WOW. REALLY? NOW? I WONDER WHY? For God’s sake, please be less
transparent! What happens to two trios when the floater they’ve ignored all
game suddenly winds up in power?
As I consider that we heard more from SlayZeeAh this episode
than in every other episode combined, they announce there will be a 2nd
veto up for grabs next episode.
How does this affect our scores? Marissa closes the gap on me, narrowing my lead to 75 points which sounds like a lot…but it was 90 in the last update! Jen, Jay and Roberta gain a few while Carol and Dalphyne stayed in place. Ricky gained some ground on 7th place, but he's got a lot more to go if he wants to break out of the cellar!
- Scott 238
- Marissa 163
- Jen 152
- Carol 113
- Jay 105
- Roberta 99
- Dalphyne 91
- Ricky 76
