Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:
Second, 5 bonus points each to Carol, Teresa, Tessa and Viviana for texting me the word Paranoid!
Note: Carol’s bonus points weren’t being added properly. Everyone
else’s were right and hers are now fixed.
For the first time this season, Makensy opens the show
shuddering in the cold outdoor water (2 points for “Speak in opening
vignette” to Teresa!). SlayZeeAh had limited options to
nominate, and Kimo isn’t happy about being on the block. Sorry guy, that’s what
happens when the HOH is someone with whom you actively avoided talking
game. It’s a lesson, but was it learned? I doubt it. T’Kor “thinks
the HOH may be targeting the Trio”.
Chelsie is happy she wasn’t nominated, as she just
orchestrated Quinn’s departure (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray
[Quinn]” to Demi!). Godzilla tries to mend fences with the Trio, but
they cringe at her voice. America cringes with you!
As it’s time to pick players for the veto competition,
JANKIE has them sing his theme song because he’s cruel and enjoys
suffering. Kimo roots for T’Kor to be picked so she can win, take
one of the Trio off the block and they can evict whoever is renominated (1
point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Tessa!). Along with Godzilla
and Chelsie, T’kor is indeed chosen (1 point each for “Picked for veto
via random draw” to Brian, Viviana and Joe!). This leads T’Kor to
a cart-before-the-horse conundrum: If she wins, who does she
save? Sounds like a tomorrow problem to me.
At the veto, it’s a puzzle where they must fit 10 circles of
varying sizes into a large circle. First place wins veto, 2nd place
wins the JANKIE veto. It’s a hard puzzle, and Rubina hates JANKIE world, but
she hates the Jury house more. Priorities! T’Kor, is
completely distracted by Godzilla’s thinking aloud in her “nails on chalkboard”
voice. Five special points if you send me the phrase nails on a chalkboard
privately. This stands until noon Friday. In the end, Godzilla takes home the
veto while SlayZeeAh takes home the JANKIE veto (4 points each for “Win
veto” to Brian and Carol!). This result is the worst disappointment
for T’kor yet (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’ to Joe!).
T’Kor seems resigned to being a renom but BB history is
filled with people who’ve talked their way out of that. Use that
social game and get to work!
Kimo makes his pitch to Gen Z’er that the trio is not a comp
threat (and he’s right –they’ve only won three competitions between them).
Godzilla thinks she should use the veto on Kimo so they can backdoor T’Kor,
with the added benefit of repairing her relationship with him, while SlayZeeAh
can use her JANKIE veto on Rubina to backdoor Chelsie. That’s an
overly complicated way to get a ton of blood on their hands but SlayZeeAh
hasn’t forgotten about how Chelsie got both Quinn and Joseph out (1
point for “Shown on camera in gray [Joseph]” to Evan!).
To use the JANKIE veto, she has to knock down 5 bottles in 3
tosses at the carnival game. She misses all three shots (on purpose,
Carol thinks, and I agree) meaning she cannot use the JANKIE
veto. This is probably the smartest play she’s made all
season.
At the veto ceremony, Godzilla follows through with her plan
and takes Kimo off the block (5 points for “Someone used the veto on
you” to Tessa!), (3 points for “Use veto on someone else” to Brian!). SlayZeeAh
completes the plan and nominates T’Kor, who doesn’t handle being nominated well
which also sends Rubina to tears (1 point each for “Shown on camera crying”
to Evan and Joe!) and closes the show.
So, what does this mean for our scores? Brian grew his lead over 2nd place Demi thanks to Godzilla’s using the veto on Kimo. Evan remains in 3rd but has narrowed the gap thanks to Rubina’s nomination and tears. The battle for 4th couldn’t be tighter, as Carol, Tessa and Teresa are tied as Viviana and Joe battle it out to avoid the cellar!
- Brian 250
- Demi 132
- Evan 126
- Tessa 121
- Carol 121
- Teresa 121
- Viviana 102
- Joe 100
