Second, 5 bonus points to Marissa, Carol, and Jay for
knowing that the shocked face was Pikachu!
We pick back up following Zae’s eviction, which drives his
bromance Zach to tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Zach] to
Teresa!) but leads to a gloating
Rachel, who hopes everyone learns not to come for the queen (2 points for
“Shown on camera in gray” [Zae] to Demi and Roberta!). Kelley is so happy
she won the BB Blockbuster that she has to run to an empty room to cheer
herself on (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Kelley] to no one!)
Having betrayed Zae, Rylie now wants to throw in with the
girls because Amy and Rachel are strong competitors (1 point for “Mention
‘in this game’ [Rylie] to Viviana!).
Keanu’s lies about who he voted for cause confusion in the
house, and agita with Will and Kelley when an alarm goes off. There are safes
in the house and they’ve been ransacked!
The Mastermind has stolen the HOH key and three mystery powers!
At the HOH competition, they have to wander around pitch
black sewers to find the HOH key or one of the three powers. (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win HOH’
[Will] to no one!).
Ava is afraid of the dark and quits. That’s one way to stay under the radar, I
guess. Keanu quickly finds a mystery
power (7 points for “Gain a secret advantage” [Keanu] to Carol, Ricky and
Joe!). Rachel also finds a mystery
power but doesn’t realize it. She drops it, much to her owner’s chagrin. Jimmy finds the HOH key, and cries in joy,
while Kelley and Mickey find the other two powers.
(5 points for “Win HOH” [Jimmy] to Scott, Jay and Tessa!)
(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Jimmy] to Scott,
Jay and Tessa!)
(7 points for “Win secret advantage” [Kelley] to no one!)
(7 points for “Win secret advantage” [Mickey] to no one!)
Mickey does her best to hide her win, but Zach is on her
case. Jimmy knows Kelley won a power, and he knows it’s in the shape of a veto.
The question is, who will tell the truth about it?
Jimmy questions Rylie, Vince, Keanu and Mickey “Lying to me
is a one-way ticket to block city”, he threatens to two people lying to him.
Every sentence that pours out of his mouth has a threat at the end of it. He’s a nasty bully. I eagerly await his inevitable flameout.
Finally, Keanu and Kelley tell each other about their powers and agree not to
tell anyone else.
Kelley comes clean to Jimmy, since he already knows. Word gets around the house that Keanu won power.
He lies to some people, but tells others breaking Rule
#1: STFU When a player has an
advantage, or a secret power they shall keep that knowledge to themselves.
Sharing it with others to “gain trust” will result in them sharing it…. for the
same reason!
Keanu’s power: Bring a mystery competitor into a veto
competition, doubling you chances of winning
Kelley’s power: Play a solo mystery veto comp. Win, and earn
a 2nd veto.
Mickey’s power: Dethrone HOH and take over. If the HOH
guesses who dethroned them, they get their HOH back. If not, she’s the new HOH.
Mickey tells Morgan, who couldn’t possibly be more thrilled Mickey trusts her (1
point for “Mention ‘in this game’ [Mickey] to no one!)
Looking for two nominees to sit aside Keanu, Jimmy asks
Kelley who’s willing as she has a power (3 points for “Volunteer to be a
pawn” [Kelley] to no one!) and Adrian, who’s unwilling to be a pawn and
questions why not target one of the big threats. We’re right there with ya, kid,
Wearing a black robe, black shirt and black gloves, Jimmy
strolls into the Nomination Ceremony looking like a Temu James Bond Villain. The
only thing missing is a hairless cat to pet while monologuing his evil plan.
Henceforth, Jimmy shall be named Dr. No.
He tells everyone that ::gasp:: Keanu LIED to everyone to save himself and that his game is so full of shit that the toilet is jealous.
Keanu responds appropriately
In the end, it’s Kelley and Adrian sitting next to Keanu on
the block
(3 points each for “Nominated for eviction” [Keanu] to
Carol, Ricky and Joe!)
(3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Kelley] to no
one!)
(3 points for “Nominated for eviction [Adrian] to no
one!)
Amy can’t stand Kelley and Keanu, and she’s irked at the
fact that she might be a renom because of the powers out there, and because
Jimmy is a weenie. Rachel questions Keanu about who he voted for, and Keanu
sticks to his lie that he voted out Zae, and lies about having a power. (2
points for “Shown on camera in gray” [Zae] to Roberta and Demi!). (1 point for
“Mention ‘in this game’ [Keanu] to Carol, Ricky and Joe!). Rachel likes
him, but she can’t trust him.
Recall about a page ago when Kelley and Keanu said they
wouldn’t tell anyone else? Kelley tells
Will and Rylie. Keanu tells Vince. It’s like they are physically incapable of
keeping their mouths shut
In a big group, Will tells the story of being deployed to
Iraq (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Will] to no one!). For being
beautiful girls, Katherine and Lauren definitely don’t get screen time. Lauren
sees Katherine as an ally, but Katherine doesn’t feel Lauren is best for her
game (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Lauren] to Ricky, Brian and
Joe!)
At the Nomination ceremony, Keanu stops the proceedings to
use his mystery competitor power. A former houseguest will play veto and if
they win, he gets it. With only one
nomination, it’s Ava who joins the game (1 point for “Picked for veto via
random draw” [Ava] to Roberta!).
A note on Keanu’s power: I am scoring this as “Someone used the
veto on you”. If you have Keanu, and the mystery competitor wins, you get 5
points.
Jimmy, also pathologically incapable of keeping his yap shut
mutters “Cool power. You’re gonna need it. Another lie.” Keanu snaps back “You looked me straight in
the face and said you wouldn’t put me up”.
They start having it out right
there, as Keanu defies Dr. No’s orders to sit back down, saying he plans to
pick everyone off one-by-one
The one-by-one comment does NOT go over well, and Keanu
knows it. He figures if he doesn’t win
Veto he needs to be such a big target that people will use him as a shield. (1
point for “Mention “I have to win Veto” [Keanu] to Carol, Ricky and Joe!)
Following the ceremony, Will hopes nominations stay the same
since he’s a potential renom, while Kelley solicits Vince’s advice on whether
to use her power this week.
At the Veto comp, they’re dressed as potted plants and Season 20 Winner, and Veto Queen, Kaycee is brought out as the mystery competitor!
(5 points for “Mention a previous seasons houseguest”
[Kaycee] to everyone!)
Dr. No is not thrilled.
In this competition, they have to hold onto buttons against the wall until a recording of Season 25’s Mama Fe says the word “Creeper”. When she does, they have to race across the backyard to ring a button. Last person to ring in is eliminated. Also, they are eliminated by letting go of the button before she says Creeper.
Mama Fe won’t say it.
Nope. Not yet. Maybe now….nope.. FINALLY she says it and Kelley is too
slow, she’s eliminated. Mama Fe tries to get them to false start by
finding every CR word in the English Language.
In the 2nd round, Ava is eliminated.
And then…Dr. No lets go of his button too soon. He’s
eliminated! Mama Fe has collected her
first victim! Keanu is ecstatic….for
about a minute when he ALSO lets go of his button! Mama Fe with 2 wins in a
row! That’s more than she won on her whole season!
It’s down to Kaycee vs. Adrian and Mama Fe’s reluctance to
say Creeper has me like….
Finally, she lets it go and naturally, Kaycee beats Adrian
to the buzzer. Kaycee wins Veto, which she gives to Keanu! (5 points for
“Someone used veto on you” [Keanu] to Carol, Ricky and Joe!). Adrian is devastated, and Dr. No watches
his evil plans fall apart. That’s what
you get for monologuing!
Jimmy discusses Amy and Will as pawns with Rachel, as they
are more expendable for him but Rachel doesn’t want to see Amy on the block and
doesn’t like that he’d sacrifice one of her people when other options are out
there.
Jimmy also tells Mickey about the replacement noms, and that
tough decisions needed to be made.
Mickey reminds us that they are in an alliance with Morgan. Why is he
looking at people who aren’t threats to us? And doing it without talking to
us? They’re both pretty ticked at him.
Keanu tries to smooth things over with Rachel by recounting the “highlights” of Season 12, which include her fight with Ragan and Hayden’s “can’t string together a sentence without the word like” jab.
He was sincerely trying to bond, but he botched it so badly
that she thinks he’s actively trying to push her buttons. She’s not interested in his apologies, now
she wants war.
(1 point for “Mention ‘floaters grab a life vest’” is
iconic [Rachel] to Scott, Jay, Marissa, Brian and Teresa!)
At the Veto meeting, Keanu takes himself off the block and
is replaced by Amy (3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Amy] to Demi!),
which makes Rachel even more displeased. I bet she’s thinking she should have
stayed home!
Kelley interrupts the Veto meeting before it can end to use
her power. She’ll play in a solo Veto competition and earns a 2nd
Veto power if she wins. Will likes
Kelley, but he’s a potential replacement nominee, so he has to root against
her (1 point for “Mention ‘in this
game’” [Will] to no one!).
In a fit of genius, Keanu pitches nominating Rachel if
Kelley wins. He doesn’t want to listen
to Keanu but Dr. No does see the logic in it.
Does he have the stones to do it?
At her solo Veto comp, Kelley has 2 minutes to build a
mystery puzzle. She makes good progress
while cheering herself on and I love it!
With about 25 seconds left, Kelley completes the puzzle and wins her
veto! (4 points for “Win a special competition” [Kelley] to no one!)
At the 2nd nomination ceremony, Will joins Amy and Adrian on the block (3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Will] to no one!). Mickey is pissed that Jimmy does whatever he wants without talking to his alliance. As is Rachel, who fears for her Mom Squad ally.
Rachel and Jimmy (AKA Dr. No) open the show with some catty
clothes banter
(2 points for “Speak in the opening vignette” [Rachel] to
Marissa, Brian and Teresa!)
(2 points for “Speak in the opening vignette” [Jimmy] to
Tessa!)
(4 points for “Speak in the opening vignette) [Rachel and
Jimmy] to Scott and Jay!)
Kelley loves the chaos caused by both her and Keanu coming
off the block and along with Zach, wants to save Adrian (1 point for
“Mention ‘in this game’” [Zach] to Teresa!). Jimmy is sick of being HOH at
this point and doesn’t care who goes home. While Will thinks Jimmy nominating
him is a bitch-ass move, he worries about going home since he hasn’t connected
with the 20-year olds. (1 point for
“Mention ‘I need to win Blockbuster’” [Will] to no one!)
Amy hates that Rachel’s target reflects on her. A parade of
houseguests including Kelley, Vince, Ava, Morgan, Mickey, and Will talks about
saving everyone but Amy. (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Ava] to
Roberta!) Even Katherine and Lauren talk about it. I think that’s the first time we’ve heard
either of them say anything remotely gameplay related.
In fact, the only people talking about saving Amy are Rachel and Jimmy, who think Adrian should be the target. Zach disagrees but dares not to speak up, while Rachel insists that if she wants Amy to stay, she’ll stay. Whatever’s best for Rachel’s game is best for them too.
At The Blockbuster, Adrian, Will and Amy have to complete a
12-piece puzzle. First one to complete
it and buzz in wins. This strongly favors Adrian’s youth and
explosiveness. He quickly jumps into the
lead and while Will gets close for a second, there’s never any true doubt as to
the outcome. (4 points for “Win
special competition” [Adrian] to no one!).
That means Jimmy nominated three people and NONE of them made it to the block. I love this game.
There are no pressured talks when Adrian is announced as the
winner, and Rachel looks like her face could fall off. They all know where this vote is going. Amy
is evicted unanimously.
(13 points for “Received vote against” [Amy] to Demi!)
(-2 points for “Evicted” [Amy] against Demi!)
(5 points for “Mention a previous season’s houseguest”
[Rachel] to Scott, Jay, Marissa, Brian and Tessa!)
(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Ava] to Roberta!)
So, what does this mean for our scores?
Keanu’s big performance this week drove a lot of movement in
the standings! He moved Carol into the lead knocking Jay into 2nd
and me into 3rd. He moves Joe from 8th to 4th
this week, pushing Brian into 5th and he moved Ricky from 9th
to 6th! Only two point
separates the rest of the league, as Roberta, Marissa and Tessa tie for 7th,
with Teresa and Vivian just a point behind them, and Dalphyne and Demi tied
just two points back! Demi may have
thought she was left for dead after week 1, but taking advantage of Amy’s
massive 13 point eviction has her right back in the game!
