Big Brother 27 - Rules and Scoring

 

Hello everyone!

This week, OUR LONG NATIONAL NIGHTMARE IS OVER! Our thrice-weekly reality obsession returns and with it, so does our PretendPoints game!  The season premiere is on Thursday, July 10^th.  This episode is not scored.

What do you need to do on the first week?

Between Thursday July 10^th and before the show on July 13^th, you will send me the TWO players names you want to pick.  They will be your players for the week. Text or Facebook message is fine.  Do not send your choices to the group chat! Message me directly!  

Make sure you get a “Got it” message from me!  If you don’t, send it again!

•          You can pick any two players you want.
•          You must choose two (2) different players. 
•          You will receive points earned by those players on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.

How do I set my weekly lineup?   

•          Text or message me the two players you want for NEXT week. 
•       You can change your players each week to any two players you want.
•       Make sure you get a "Got it" message from me!  If you don't, send it again!
•       Do not send your choices to the group chat! Message me directly!
•           Rosters lock when the show begins on Thursday to prevent feed-watchers from picking whoever wins HOH.
•           Roster changes take effect on Sundays
•           Scoring will take place on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.  
•           If you do not choose a player you will keep your prior week’s players

Notes:

•           I will post the following week’s rosters to the blog on Saturday. 
•           Weekly updates will be on Saturday or Sunday (depending on how busy I am 😊.)
•           Occasionally, Big Brother adds twists and turns.  I’ll do my best to fit those into the scoring categories below.  If not, I’ll add them if possible.

Scoring Categories and points: You earn points based on various events, competitions, phrases, and things they do, like crying on camera.  The scoring table is below. Each instance of scoring only counts the first time it happens.  You do not earn points for “Previously on Big Brother” or any recap episodes (ex: Big Brother Unlocked, the end-of-season retrospective). Here are this season’s scoring categories and their points:
