Second, 5 bonus points each to Will, Melissa and Slater for knowing Rachel and Zach’s future should be in the Blue Man Group!

We open the week with Ava talking to Vince who’s still in his Deteggtive outfit (2 points for “Speak in the opening vignette” [Ava] to Nickole and Angela!!).  Morgan is brought to tears at Zach’s eviction (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [Zach] to no one!) and (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!).  Vince and Lauren also lost an ally, and it tears him up too

(1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Vince] to no one!)

(1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Lauren] to no one!)

Ava cries at Zach’s eviction, because of course she does. (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Ava] to Nickole and Angela!!).  The Micktator (aka Mickey) finds Keanu’s winning excessively bothersome, which is ironic because I find her excessively bothersome.  She wants to turn the house upside down, and Rachel is the target of her anger.

1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Mickey] to Will!)

(1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Mickey] to Will!)

The Micktator tells her flock the next target is Rachel, but Ashley and Will are both good with Rachel and want no part of it. Ava lets Rachel know she’s a target. She’s had a lot of lives, but she definitely needs power

(1 point for “Mention “I have to win HOH” [Rachel] to Scott, Will, Morgan, Aly, Angela and Slater!)

(1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Rachel] to Scott, Will, Morgan, Aly, Angela and Slater!)

At the HOH competition, they are dressed for a prom when “The Party Slasher” calls. They have 5 minutes to look around 6 “rooms” and then await a call. Some details determine which rooms are safe and which aren’t.  Last one standing is HOH. Vince can hardly concentrate as he’s too focused on posters of Xavier and Derek X (5 points for “Mention a previous season’s player” [Vince] to no one!)

After three rounds it’s down to Morgan and Rachel, and Morgan HAS to win (1 point for “Mention ‘I need tow in HOH’” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!). Unfortunately for the gamer, she isn’t enough of a stickler for details and it’s Rachel who takes home the power! (5 points for “Win HOH” [Rachel] to Scott, Will, Morgan, Aly, Angela and Slater!)

Vince, Morgan and the Micktator think this is a nightmare, but Will and Ashley are fine with her.  (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Will] to Lia!).

The Parade begins for Rachel. Ashley petitions her not to nominate Mickey. Vince asks her to be nominated straight up so he can play in veto while and Kelley realizing how alone Rachel is (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Kelley] to Scott and Amy!)

The most pointed conversation, of course, is Mickey who tries playing coy with Rachel. This is a truly stupid way to go about saving herself. Rachel is the queen of petty drama. She bats Mickey’s passive-aggressive nonsense around like a cat playing with a mouse.

Child's play

They talk again later when Rachel comes clean about feeling betrayed by Mickey at the Jimmy vote. It’s emotional manipulation on the Queen’s part, but Mickey doesn’t fall for the bait. Instead, she tells Rachel that Kelley told her about how Rachel felt days ago.  Rachel feels totally betrayed here. It sounds like she genuinely wanted to work with Kelley.

Is it possible Mickey has talked her way off the block?  Confronting Kelley about this betrayal, Rachel whips out the “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed” mom voice, seeing Kelley can’t be trusted.

At the nomination ceremony, it’s finally a week without Keanu on the block and despite her best efforts, the Micktator is on it alongside Morgan and Vince

(3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Mickey] to Will!)

(3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

(3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Vince] to no one!)

Everyone chanting for Rachel kicks off the show (2 points for “Speak in opening vignette” [Everyone] to all of us!

Vince isn’t surprised to be on the block and needs to stop playing so scared (1 point for “Mention ‘I need to win Veto” [Vince] to no one!). And if Morgan thought Zach leaving last week was bad (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [Zach] to no one!), then this week is even worse – she’s sitting next to her two best friends.

The Micktator thinks Rachel is intimidated by her genius (No. Really. She said that) but even genius has emotion, as Mickey is brought to tears by Kelley saying “Welcome to the party!” (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Mickey] to Will!). She is totally pissed at Kelley now, and Ava sees that Mickey is crazy

Words fail me

Sidebar: I don’t think Mickey is just crazy. I think she’s also a bully.  She can dish it out, but she can’t take it at all

Morgan wants an honest conversation with Rachel, which is also stupid because this is BIG BROTHER and not FAMILY THERAPY (Right, Aly?). Morgan admits to the current HOH that she’s have put her on the block and even Rachel thinks she should have shut up.

(1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

Rachel gets the kind of ass-kissing a new HOH should expect from both Keanu and Kelley, who think her speech was savage and iconic (1 point for ‘Mention “Rachel’s speech was iconic’” [Kelley] to Scott and Amy!). Kelley hopes her misstep doesn’t prevent her from moving forward with Rachel.

Ashley was disappointed with Mickey’s nomination. She tries to convince Rachel that Mickey isn’t pissed, and that it can all be smoothed over if Rachel uses the veto on Mickey. For her part, Mickey thinks she can convince Rachel that she’d never come for her (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Mickey] to Will!)

Ashley is high enough to make Snoop and Willie jealous

She seems to forget that Rachel isn’t Lauren.  She does what she wants and deals with the consequences.  Rachel may be slow to make a quippy comeback but she’s not stupid. She knows that going to war with Mickey for weeks, like how she did in BB12 with Matt, allows the rest of the house to skate on by. (5 points for “Mention a previous season’s player” [Rachel] to Scott, Will, Morgan, Aly, Angela and Slater!)

Keanu sees that him and Rachel are like siblings who grew up fighting but are now friends as they lock in a Final 2 deal (3 points for “Shown on camera making a final 2 deal” [Keanu] to Amy, Melissa and Nickole!). Vince already has a Final 2 deal with Lauren – he has one with half the house, I think – and he’s not thrilled when Lauren is hesitant to play Veto and use it on him if she wins. And of course, when it’s time to pick players for Veto, Lauren is chosen along with Will who tells Mickey he’ll happily use the veto on her and deal with the repercussions.

(1 point for “Picked for veto via random draw” [Lauren] to no one!)

(1 point for “Picked for veto via random draw” [Will] to Lia!)

The Veto competition is OTEV, which is an iconic competition! Extra points for having the winner!  Rachel thinks OTEV is iconic as she is (1 point for “Mention OTEV is iconic” [Rachel] to Scott, Will, Morgan, Aly, Angela and Slater!) and while Morgan doesn’t think it’s iconic, she does think she needs to win it (1 point for “Mention ‘I need to win Veto’” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

After the first two rounds, it’s clear that Mickey hit her side stash before the comp. She tries to convince Lauren to throw the competition since she wouldn’t use the veto.  Lauren uses that – and a lot of luck - as fuel.  In the third round, Morgan, Mickey and Rachel all have the wrong answer. Only Lauren is correct!

(4 points for “Win Veto” [Lauren] to no one!)

(3 points for “Win an iconic competition” [Lauren] to no one!)

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

Lauren hasn’t decided for herself yet and now has Vince in one ear wanting him to use it on her (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Vince] to no one!). Morgan in her other ear playing the “Zach guilt trip” card saying she told Zach she’d care for Lauren if Zach was evicted, and that Zach didn’t use his power to protect them both (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [Zach] to no one!) and HOH Rachel in her other other ear wanting her to keep things the same.

Proving she has no idea how to play this game, Lauren outright tells Rachel she doesn’t want to see Rylie or Katherine go up because she’s close to them. Later, Rachel stops playing nice and flat-out tells Lauren that Rylie will be the replacement nominee if he uses the Veto, and not using it shows Rachel that Lauren wants to work with her.

Thanks for making them targets!

In the end, Lauren’s fear of losing Vince outweighs her belief that Rylie will be the replacement nominee and she uses the Veto on Vince

(5 points for “Someone uses the Veto on you” [Vince] to no one!)

(3 points for “Use the Veto on someone else” [Lauren] to no one!)

Rachel, however, doesn’t bluff. She immediately puts Rylie on the block.

(3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Rylie] to Kat, Blake, Melissa and Aly!)

Everyone is aghast when Rachel tells Rylie and Katherine that “Lauren chose Vince over you”.   She definitely knows how to twist the knife, but that’s not going to stop Rylie from making sure he spends more creepy quality time with Katherine (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Rylie] to Kat, Blake, Melissa and Aly!)

Eviction Night opens with Rachel barging in to interrupt Vince, Morgan and Lauren

(2 points for “Speak in opening vignette” [Vince] to no one!)

(2 points for “Speak in opening vignette” [Lauren] to no one!)

(2 points for “Speak in opening vignette” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

Rachel thinks Lauren was dumb to use the veto, and everyone loves Rylie, so a big target is going home no matter what. Morgan doesn’t want to stress about it but she’s up next to Mickey (1 point for “Say I need to win BB Blockbuster” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!). Lauren and Kelley are scared of Rachel, and Katherine is ticked at Lauren for not believing Rachel would nominate Rylie.

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Katherine] to Kat!)

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Lauren] to no one!)

Kelley asks Vince how close he is to Lauren that she’d use the veto on him. He tried to play it off, saying last week everyone thought he was close to Morgan. Kelley is just glad she has a Final 2 with him

Vince

Vince does not remember sealing in a Final 2 with Kelley and it’s easy to understand why – he’s made so many. Who can keep track?  He covers well enough that Kelley doesn’t seem to notice, though. He has the same conversation with Rylie – and doesn’t remember making a Final 2 with him either but covers that as well (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Vince] to no one!).  It’s too bad they don’t give houseguests pens and paper. Vince clearly needs it. Finally, Morgan asks Vince that he’s voting for Rylie no matter who else is next to him.  Yep, sure am.

Mickey continues to unintentionally alienate her allies by using M&M’s to plot with Katherine, which Morgan catches them doing, and by throwing Ashley under the bus for spending so much time with Rachel in the HOH room which really pisses Ashley off.

Ashley, SMASH!

Between that and her Micktator act, she’s wearing the house thin and if she stays on the block, Rachel, Morgan, Will and Ashley think she could go home.  They enlist Will to be their 5th vote and form The Judges alliance.

(3 points for “Name an alliance” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

(3 points for “Be part of a named alliance” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

(3 points for “Be part of a named alliance” [Ashley] to Blake!)

(3 points for “Be part of a named alliance” [Will] to Lia!)

(3 points for “Be part of a named alliance” [Vince] to no one!)

(3 points for “Be part of a named alliance” [Rachel] to Scott, Will, Morgan, Aly, Angela and Slater!)

Vince was looking to mend fences and work with Rachel, and this is a perfect reason.

At the BB Blockbuster, they have one minute to roll a ball down a game board, land it in a score zone and lock it in or try again. The further they roll it, the higher the score. At one minute, they have to lock in their score. Highest score wins.

Rylie lands a big number on his 2nd toss and hangs back waiting to see if Morgan or Mickey pass him.  We see Morgan tie him, and lock in meaning she’d win if they tie. Rylie then looks RIGHT AT MICKEY who’s locked in with a higher score….and locks in a lower score?

No, seriously. WTF?

First, he looked RIGHT AT MICKEY, and then looked at where her ball was, and then he locked in a losing score. Second, even if he didn’t see Mickey’s ball, Morgan locked in the same score faster, so he’d still lose.

Here’s the proof:

Is he stupid or did he throw it?

Mickey is announced as the winner, and Rylie’s speech is from the heart and off the top of his head (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Rylie] to Kat, Blake, Melissa and Aly!) while Morgan makes a prepared speech you can tell she practiced.

At the vote, Ashley is glowingly happy to evict Rylie, Ava still wants to evict Mickey and Vince is completely torn.  Eventually, he votes to evict Rylie and is the swing vote as Rylie is evicted 5-4.

(4 points for “Received vote against” [Morgan] to Morgan, Lia and Slater!)

(5 points for “Received vote against” [Rylie] to Kat, Blake, Melissa and Aly!)

(-2 points for “Evicted” [Rylie] against Kat, Blake, Melissa and Aly!)

Tears flow freely as this eviction sends these saps into overly emotional overdrive

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Ava] to Nickole and Angela!!)

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Katherine] to Kat!)

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Rylie] to Kat, Blake, Melissa and Aly!)

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Mickey] to Will!)

(1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Keanu] to Amy, Melissa and Nickole!)

Katherine and Rylie hug so tightly I can hear their heartbeats through their mics.  Farewell, creepshow!

So, what does this mean for our scores?

Vince and Morgan led all scorers this week, posting 24 and 23 points respectively. HOH Rachel, Veto winner Lauren and Blockbuster winner Mickey round out the top 5 with 19, 18 and 14 points each. Zach scored more points out of the game (4) than Katherine did in it (3).

Will lengthens his lead to 24 points thanks to picking the HOH and Blockbuster winner. Slater is the story of the week. He picked up 47 points and launched himself from the middle of the pack into 3rd just a point ahead of Morgan whose 42 points was the 2nd highest score of the week. When one comes up, others must come down and so it is for Melissa who drops from 3rd to 5th. Aly wants no part of being toward the bottom. She jumped back into the middle thanks to HOH Rachel and evictee Rylie. Kat drops to 7th just a few ahead of former allies Nickole and Amy.  Angela, Lia and Blake are unchanged, rounding out the bottom 3.
