Big Brother 26: Update #26

Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:

Second, 10 bonus points to Carol for sending me the word Marionette and correctly identifying Godzilla’s workout theme as “Gonna Fly Now”, from Rocky!

We pick up with Godzilla hitting the weights (2 points for “Speak in opening vignette” [Godzilla] to Brian!). When last we left, Chelsie maneuvered Makensy into using SlayZeeAh as the re-nomination. Makensy still thinks it’s a good move but it’s not. By not going after Chelsie, she’s broken Rule #3: Play to Win and SlayZeeAh thinks she’s definitely screwed up (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’[SlayZeeAh] to Carol!).

It's all she can do to keep from laughing at Makensy when the HOH says, “If I didn’t put you up, they’d be coming for my throat!”.  THEY’RE COMING FOR YOU ANYWAY!  Chelsie joins the conversation, and they do the Liar’s Dance about whether she’d go after Chelsie.  Makensy is thought this move would buy her trust but is suddenly concerned people may think less of her as a player.

It’s obvious to us that the house is split into three camps – Chelsie/Makensy/The Warrior, Kimo/Rubina, SlayZeeAh/Godzilla.  In these positions, there’s no “hiding and worrying”. There’s only “attack”.  Makensy needed to nominate Chelsie, which is what a bold player would do.  She didn’t, out of fear.

Ainsley takes this time to remind the humans they’ve earned punishment:

BABY!

We kick off at the first eviction, with Godzilla begging to stay and SlayZeeAh nervously forgetting what she had planned.  Nothing either one says matters, as Queen of the Game Chelsie has decreed SlayZeeAh’s time is up.

The Gen Z’er is evicted 4-0 becoming Juror #3, sending both her and Makensy to tears and her to the jury house where Quinn awaits!  (4 points for “Received vote against”[SlayZeeAh] to Carol!), (-2 points for “Evicted”[SlayZeeAh] against Carol), (2 points for “Jury member” [SlayZeeAh] to Carol!), (1 point each for “Shown on camera crying”[SlayZeeAh], [Makensy] to Carol and Teresa!)

We’re quickly off to the HOH comp where the houseguests have to answer questions based on the story Chenbot told – most correct answers out of seven questions wins. Chelsie takes a quick lead and is up 5-3 on Godzilla, but she misses the final two which allows Godzilla to sneak into a tie!  I can’t believe it, but Chelsie’s got me rooting for Godzilla here. 5 points if you text me the phrase sneaky snake. Tell no one else. Offer good until the next update is posted. They go to the tiebreaker – how long did JANKIE live in minutes?  Closest without going over wins. We all know it’s about a week, so 60x24x7 = 10,080.  It’ll be a bit more than that, but you don’t want to go over.

Chelsie misses a zero, answering 1080. Godzilla can’t do math at all and guesses about 15,000 meaning Chelsie takes home a frustrating HOH.  (5 points for “Win HOH”[Chelsie] to Viviana!).  The most powerful person in the house doesn’t need to break up her alliance to win, so she nominates Godzilla and Kimo.  (3 points each for “Nominated for eviction”[Godzilla], [Kimo] to Brian and Tessa!).

If it feels like Godzilla’s been up every week, that’s because she’s been nominated 7 times.  If you’re wondering, the record is 10 – held by the useless Victoria 16 who was nominated every week and dragged into the finals by Cody, who eventually cut her in favor of Derrick – a $500,000 mistake.

At the Veto comp, they roll balls down a curved ramp. First person to sink 5 wins and for the first time this year, Kimo is good at something!  (4 points for “Win Veto”[Kimo] to Tessa!).

HOH Chelsie is sure that Godzilla is going home. She’s so sure that she….nominates Rubina.  If you’re SO SURE, nominate Makensy. Or the Warrior.  She’s a fake. (3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [Rubina] to Evan!)

At the eviction speech, Godzilla makes the same damn speech.  And Rubina’s no better, counting on guilt like “I just want to keep representing my people”. She has to rely on this kind of guilt because she hasn’t done a damned thing besides get some sun and hook up with Tucker!

Again, the speeches don’t really matter, as Godzilla meets her end about 10 weeks later than she should have, becoming Juror #4 (3 points for “Received vote against” [Godzilla] to Brian!), (-2 points for “Evicted” [Godzilla] against Brian!), and (2 points for “Jury member” [Godzilla] to Brian!).

I hope this is the picture they use for you in BB Comics

So, what does this mean for our scores?  2nd place Carol doesn’t gain anything on leader Brian, and has no one left.  3rd place Tessa, however, has both Cam and Kimo remaining. She widens her lead over 4th place Teresa and has an outside chance of victory if Cam and Kimo can win their way to the end. Both 5th place Teresa and 6th place Evan have a chance to move up. Makensy is doing her darndest to earn points but Rubina seemingly cannot win a thing.  Similarly, Chelsie is winning competitions but Viviana’s too far back to get into contention.

With two weeks to go, it looks like Brian’s lead is insurmountable, but Tessa still has an outside chance! WAKE UP CAM! IT'S TIME TO PLAY BIG BROTHER!

  1. Brian    274
  2. Carol    169
  3. Tessa    155
  4. Teresa   138
  5. Evan     136
  6. Demi    136
  7. Viviana 117
  8. Joe        109

Big Brother 26: Champions League update #26

Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:

Second, 10 bonus points each to Carol and Marissa for sending me the word Marionette and correctly identifying Godzilla’s workout theme as “Gonna Fly Now”, from Rocky!

We pick up with Godzilla hitting the weights (2 points for “Speak in opening vignette” [Godzilla] to me!). When last we left, Chelsie maneuvered Makensy into using SlayZeeAh as the re-nomination. Makensy still thinks it’s a good move but it’s not. By not going after Chelsie, she’s broken Rule #3: Play to Win and SlayZeeAh thinks she’s definitely screwed up (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’[SlayZeeAh] to Ricky!).

I hope this is the picture they use for you in BB Comics

So, what does this mean for our scores?  I pick up 12 important points to keep my lead steady over 2nd place Marissa who’s now just 42 points behind.  Carol picks up 15 points and moves into 3rd thanks to bonus points and Chelsie’s HOH win. She is 56 points behind but has both Chelsie and The Warrior remaining.  I don’t know who will take it. I have a big lead but no more points coming in and Finale night has a lot of points! Jen stays steady in 4th but 5th place Jay gained a bunch thanks to Kimo’s Veto win and has a shot to pass her.  Dalphyne has Makensy still alive, and so has a chance ot move up.  7th place Roberta has no one left, and Ricky finally lost SlayZeeAh – he will be our 8th place finisher.  Good luck in Survivor, friends!

  1. Scott        262
  2. Marissa    220
  3. Carol       166
  4. Jen           160

Survivor 47: Update #1

It’s the first update of the Survivor season and I’m HERE FOR IT BABY! WOOOOOOOOOO! Before we get started, here’s a reminder of who has whom:

Second, bonus points will be available in most updates (including this one). Pay attention to find them! This is your only reminder!

Third, Updates are full of spoilers. Proceed at your own risk!

Here we go!

Morale is high at the Lavo (Red) tribe, but Rome is panicking because he’s got a beware advantage to solve.  In his anxiety, he immediately breaks Rule #1: STFU and tells Teeny about it.  They never, ever learn, do they?  If you share information “to build trust”, that information will be shared with someone else….and for the same reason! But he feels like she’s 100% trustworthy.

Teeny wanted him out but it’s never easy on Survivor so she shows Kishan the box, and as she does so Rome walks up.  Quick thinking Teeny, says she wanted this to be her group. Rome is suspicious but that doesn’t stop him from taking the idol. Rome is also a braggart, saying he’s an NBA level basketball player and could’ve been a professional rapper too.  The tribe can’t stand him.

At Tuku, TK wants to build a strong 3 and Kyle’s on board but who’s the third? (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [TK] to Angela!).  Tiyana senses a big divide between men and women on the tribe but relentingly agrees to join the bromance with Kyle and TK, seeing Kyle as someone she can trust (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’[Tiyana] to Dylan!).

They debate going after Sue or Caroline and decide to bring Gabe in, but he’s just mouthing the words. He wants to work with the ladies, but Caroline “isn’t there yet” and doesn’t buy his pitch as honest.  Earth to Caroline!  He’s not asking to marry you!

I hereby add a new Rule #7 to the Reality Game Rules:  Always Say Yes.  If approached to join an alliance or Final Three or Two, ALWAYS SAY YES.  Saying no is like saying “Please target me!”.  Say yes, and then do whatever you want.

Undeterred, Gabe also breaks Rule #1: STFU and shows her his idol.  Suddenly, she’s interested. He may as well have flashed a stack of cash at her.

The women try to nap at the beach and TK gets on everyone’s nerves because you know bro, he won’t stop talking bro. You know what I mean bro? OMG, make it stop! He’s the guy talking on the phone in the movie theater without a care for who he aggravates.

Earth to TK, come in TK

Finally, at Gata, it’s episode 2 and Andy is ready for his redemption arc.  He’s contented now that everyone cheers his every move.  Rachel and Anika see it as fattening the toxic, clingy lamb before the slaughter but Sam sees that he might be valuable.

The girls go idol hunting and leave Sam to watch Andy but when he steps away for a minute, Andy bolts into the forest to go idol hunting.  Minutes later (our time), Andy finds a beware advantage!  But he’s worried he can’t complete it so he hides it instead of opening it. (2 points for “Find Beware Advantage” [Andy] to Roberta!), (5 points for “Give Beware Advantage to someone else or leave unopened” [Andy] to Roberta!).

Spoiler alert: It doesn't

Unfortunately for Andy, his hiding skills are on par with his social skills. Sam finds his hiding spot while hiking with Anika, and immediately opens it (2 points for “Find Beware Advantage” [Sam] to Brian!), (2 points for “Open Beware Advantage” to Brian!).  He’ll do anything for more power (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Sam] to Brian!). After heading back to camp, Sam takes his true #1 Sierra to get the idol and they’re shocked when there’s a twist to obtaining it. Have they never watched the show?  After a bit, Sam completes Stage 1 of the Beware Advantage and takes possession of his idol (2 points for “Complete Stage 1 of Beware Advantage” [Sam] to Brian!), (5 points for “Find Hidden Immunity Idol”[Sam] to Brian!).  Immediately overthinking how he can use this advantage, he asks Sierra if he should play it on Andy

AYFKM???

At the tribal immunity and reward challenge, they have to swim to a tower, grab a bag of rice and bring it to shore, navigate a blind maze, get a ball out of the rice bag, and manuever the ball through a labyrinth maze.  First two tribes win immunity and reward.  As Gata is a person short, Lavo (Red) and Tuku (Blue) sit players out (2 points each for “Volunteer to sit out a challenge”[Aysha, Sue] to Brian and Sheila!).

Lavo (Red) takes a short lead but Gata quickly catches up, and finishes the maze portion first.  Channeling his inner Jason Vorhees, Andy tears through the rice bag and starts Gata on the maze.  As they’re on the maze, Rachel squirrels away rice in her pockets!  I love it!  5 bonus points if you text me the word squirrel.  Tell no one else. Offer good until the next update is posted. Gata snaps at each other but manages to finish first, with Lavo close behind them which means Tuku is headed to Tribal Council (2 points for “Win Tribe Immunity” [Gata] to Roberta!), (2 points for “Win Tribe Reward” [Gata] to Roberta!), (1 point each for “Win Tribe Immunity”[Gata],[Lavo] to Brian, Iyasah, Sheila, Angela, Leah, Carol, Dylan!),  (1 point each for “Win Tribe Reward”[Gata],[Lavo] to Brian, Iyasah, Sheila, Angela, Leah, Carol, Dylan!),  Unfortunately for Rachel, Jeff caught her pocketing the rice and made her empty her pockets.  It was a valiant effort!

5 bonus points if you tell me what movie this picture is from!
Message me directly with your answer

In the post-loss interview, TK can’t stand losing. Back at loser camp, Tuku (Blue), he tells us he feels like the leader, that everyone needs his mindset and how he’s going to tell people what the tribe is doing.  Oh yeah. This can’t miss.  Another one who’s never watched the show.

Tiyana is emotional about TK’s attitude but is happy with Kyle’s ideas of sportsmanship.  Kyle works hard to keep the three together, and Tiyana mouths the words about numbers, but I’m not buying it.  Meanwhile, Gabe plans to flip and vote with the girls, hoping to take Tiyana with him.  Sue sees it as an Epic Girl Boss Move (5 points for “Say the title of the episode” [Sue] to Sheila!). Tiyana worries that flipping would burn Kyle, but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed later.

At Tribal Council, they talk of bromance and guys vs. girls. Kyle doesn’t see it and TK sees boys on top as a “Sue problem and not a tribe problem, mansplaining to Sue about how she needed to have more conversations.

TK, bro. Come on, bro. Be better, bro.

Caroline outs Gabe for idol hunting but he owns it – I’m out here on an adventure. Let me be Indiana Jones, he says.  So be it!  From here on out, he shall be Indiana Jones, or Indy.

At the vote, Indy decides to play his idol for himself, but there was no need.  TK’s attitude ensured Tiyana’s flip and he’s voted out 4-2 (2 points for “Play hidden immunity idol on yourself”[Indy] to Carol!), (2 points for “Received vote against” [Sue] to Sheila!), (4 points for “Received vote against”[TK] to Angela!), (-2 points for “The Tribe Has Spoken”[TK] against Angela!), and finally (10 points for “First person voted out after our game starts” to Angela!).

What do leaders get when no one follows?
They get voted out

Rome, the first and only lifeline, is assigned to Angela starting next week!

So what does this mean for our scores?  Thanks to Sam finding, opening and solving a beware advantage Brian takes a quick lead.  Roberta and Angela are tied for 2nd  thanks to Andy’s…andy-ness and TK’s inability to keep his yap shut. I don’t care how strong he is. I couldn’t listen to that all day!  Sheila debuts in 4th thanks to Sue saying the title of the episode while 5th place Carol, 6th place Dylan and tied-for-7th place Iyasah and Lia are separated by a mere two points.

  1. Brian     26
  2. Roberta 21
  3. Angela  21
  4. Sheila    17
  5. Carol    10
  6. Dylan     9
  7. Iyasah    8
  8. Lia         8

They get sent home

Sierra, the first and only lifeline, is assigned to me!

So, what does this mean for our scores?  I take a 1-point lead into first place thanks to TK’s inability to shut up.  Similarly, Rome’s mouth and Sam’s Beware idol drive Kristyn and Ricky into into 2nd place ties. 4th place Dalphyne, 5th place Jay and 6th place Marissa are close behind, while 7th place Carol and 8th place Jen struggle to get out of the starting gate

Big Brother 26: Update #25

Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:

Second, 5 bonus points each to Carol and Tessa for sending me the word “Munchkin”.

As we pick up, SlayZeeAh comforts Godzilla, saying she’s not creepy (2 points each for “Speak in opening vignette” to Carol and Brian!). HOH Makensy knows Chelsie wants SlayZeeAh out but thinks Godzilla is the bigger target, and Kimo isn’t happy being next to her on the block.  For her part, Godzilla is tired of being a pawn.  I don’t get how – she hasn’t ever truly been a pawn.  Every time she’s been up, she’s been saved by divine (or infernal) intervention. (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Godzilla] to Brian!)

Kimo hates feeling expendable, but he’s not to Rubina now that T’Kor is gone (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [T’Kor] to Joe!).  Makensy wants Godzilla gone to move SlayZeeAh back closer to her, but the Gen Z’er would still use the veto on Godzilla if she wins it.

At the veto picking ceremony, only Rubina is left out of the game. (1 point each for “Picked for veto via random draw” [SlayZeeAh], [Chelsie] to Carol and Viviana!), (2 points for “Picked for veto via houseguest choice” [The Warrior] to Tessa!).  Taking no chances, Godzilla decides to hit the weight room.

5 points if you tell me the proper name of this theme song (Hint: It’s not the name of the movie!)

The Warrior thinks it’s time he started building a resume, and I can’t help but laugh (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win veto’” [The Warrior] to Tessa!), and while Makensy thinks SlayZeeAh is safe if she wins, Chelsie has other ideas.  Finally, Kimo also needs to win this veto because he wants to see the movie attached to it (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win veto’”[Kimo] to Tessa!)

It’s a “Finish the game in the fastest time” comp and while Kimo, The Warrior, and Chelsie quickly devolve into guess mode, SlayZeeAh does well, as does Makensy.  Godzilla had most of the right answers but changed them to the wrong ones in panic (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win veto’”[Godzilla] to Brian!). In the end, HOH Makensy dominates the field taking home the veto and securing all of the power this week (4 points for “Win Veto”[Makensy] to Teresa!)

HOH/Veto winner Makensy chooses Kimo, Cam and Rubina to watch the movie as they haven’t won anything, which of course pisses off Chelise because what doesn’t piss off Chelsie?  It looks like a quality Dreamworks production, which takes The Warrior to tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying”[The Warrior] to Tessa!)

Following her veto loss, SlayZeeAh tries to mend fences with Rubina saying it was a mistake to target T’Kor and she should’ve gone after Chelsie. A still pissed off Rubina nods and smiles but sees nothing but burned bridges.  She tells Makensy and Chelsie what the Gen Z’er said and that’s all the opening Chelsie needs.   She knows SlayZeeAh is coming after her now that she’s evicted her two closest allies (1 point each for “Shown on camera in gray”[Quinn], [Joseph] to Demi and Evan!).

Chelsie uses this conversation as a wedge to make Makensy forget about “Nominating her loses her as a juror vote” and “She proved herself by not nominating me last week”.  She doesn’t have your back, Chelsie says. And this proves it. What happens if she wins next week? Are you safe? (1 point each for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Chelsie], [Makensy] to Viviana and Teresa!)

And I’m shouting at the TV.

SHE’S COMING FOR CHELSIE!  WHOSE GAME ARE YOU PLAYING????

Godzilla tries to convince Makensy to save her again (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Godzilla] to Brian!) but Makensy tells us “If I do use it, it won’t be on you.  A commendable effort, though”.  Ha!

Meanwhile outside, SlayZeeAh naps above where Chelsie, Rubina and Kimo play pool…and discuss getting her out.  She can’t hear everything, but she hears enough, freaks out and runs to Makensy.  Makensy isn’t sure where she stands with SlayZeeAh afte the T’Kor eviction which is bizarre reasoning since Makensy was in on that plan.  We aren’t hearing Makensy here. What we have is Chelsie working Makensy’s mouth like a puppet.  5 points if you send me the word marionette. Tell no one else. Offer good until the next update is posted.

At the veto ceremony, Makensy all-but-abdicates her HOH to Chelsie and uses the veto to remove Kimo and nominating SlayZeeAh (5 points for “Someone used veto on you” [Kimo] to Tessa!), (3 points for “Use veto on someone else” [Makensy] to Teresa!), and (3 points for “Nominated for eviction” [SlayZeeAh] to Carol!).  For some reason, this move takes Makensy to tears. It brought out my emotions, but for me that’s overboiled rage. (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Makensy] to Teresa!)

Makensy proves she’s Chelsie’s mouthpiece by telling us “You say you’re loyal to me but you’re coming after my closest ally Chelsie”.   SHE WAS LOYAL…TO YOU!  It’s been a great season so far, but this is just flat-out dumb.

SlayZeeAh is a mess at the news (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [SlayZeeAh] to Carol!) but she knows she’s not really hearing Makensy.

The Queen of Thorns, reincarnated

It doesn’t help that she’s up against her only ally (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’”[SlayZeeAh] to Carol!). Rubina is so happy about getting Justice for T’Kor that I feel like she needs a banner. Finally, Chelsie sees that this move isn’t good for Makensy but it is good for her.  Wow.  Quinn had less power when he was the DeepFake HOH than Chelsie does now.

I hope she follows SlayZeeAh right out the door.

So, what does this mean for our scores?  2nd place Carol picks up 8 points on leader Brian but it’s not looking good for Leah. 3rd place Tessa has both Cam and Kimo left and picks up a whopping 15 points thanks to Kimo’s nomination and earning bonus points.  She’s still got a shot if Godzilla ever gets knocked out.  Teresa jumps into 4th place, passing 5th place Demi thanks to Makensy’s Veto win. Evan drops into 6th because even though only 7 houseguests remain, Rubina still won’t do anything useful.  Finally, it looks like 7th place Viviana has passed 8th place Joe for good.  Get ‘em next year!

  1. Brian     266
  2. Carol     153
  3. Tessa    148
  4. Teresa   137
  5. Demi     136
  6. Evan     133
  7. Viviana  112
  8. Joe        109

Big Brother 26: Champions League Update #25

Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:

Second, 5 bonus points each to Carol and Marissa for sending me the word “Munchkin”.

As we pick up, SlayZeeAh comforts Godzilla, saying she’s not creepy (2 points each for “Speak in opening vignette” to Ricky and me!). (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Godzilla] to me!)

Kimo hates feeling expendable, but he’s not to Rubina now that T’Kor is gone (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [T’Kor] to Marissa!).  Makensy wants Godzilla gone to move SlayZeeAh back closer to her, but the Gen Z’er would still use the veto on Godzilla if she wins it.

At the veto picking ceremony, only Rubina is left out of the game. (1 point each for “Picked for veto via random draw” [SlayZeeAh], [Chelsie] to Ricky and Carol!), (2 points for “Picked for veto via houseguest choice” [The Warrior] to Carol!).  Taking no chances, Godzilla decides to hit the weight room.

5 points if you tell me the proper name of this theme song
(Hint: It’s not the name of the movie!)

The Warrior thinks it’s time he started building a resume, and I can’t help but laugh (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win veto’” [The Warrior] to Carol!), and while Makensy thinks SlayZeeAh is safe if she wins, Chelsie has other ideas.  Finally, Kimo also needs to win this veto because he wants to see the movie attached to it (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win veto’” [Kimo] to Jay!)

It’s a “finish the game in the fastest time” comp and while Kimo, The Warrior, and Chelsie quickly devolve into guess mode, SlayZeeAh does well, as does Makensy.  Godzilla had most of the right answers but changed them to the wrong ones in panic (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win veto’” [Godzilla] to me!). In the end, HOH Makensy dominates the field taking home the veto and securing all of the power this week (4 points for “Win Veto” [Makensy] to Dalphyne!)

HOH/Veto winner Makensy chooses Kimo, Cam and Rubina to watch the movie as they haven’t won anything, which of course pisses off Chelise because what doesn’t piss off Chelsie?  It looks like a quality Dreamworks production, which takes The Warrior to tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [The Warrior] to Carol!)

So, what does this mean for our scores?  2nd place Marissa only gained two on me this time, thanks to Godzilla’s mouthiness. 4th place Carol has narrowed the gap with 3rd place Jen, trailing her by only 9. Jay remains in 5th but Dalphyne moves into 6th, passing 7th place Roberta thanks to Makensy’s Veto win.  Will the Gen Z’er get enough eviction points to get Ricky out of the cellar?  We’ll find out tonight as the first part of DOUBLE EVICTION NIGHT, BABY!

Big Brother 26: Update #24

Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:

Second, 5 bonus points to both Tessa and Carol for sending me the phrases “Dat’s It”!

We pick up following T’Kor’s eviction with Godzilla (2 points for “Speak in opening vignette” to Brian!). Makensy wants to win to get some power (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Makensy] to Teresa!), while Godzilla wants to target half of the house, but mostly Chelsie and Kimo feels like the sitting duck he is.  (1 point for “Say ‘I need to win HOH’” [Kimo] to Tessa!)

The HOH puzzle is hard, but Makensy thinks her experience as a construction project manager will help her.  Ummm…. sure. Why not?   SlayZeeAh is openly rooting for Godzilla because that’s the only person she can trust (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’”[SlayZeeAh] to Carol!).  You know your game has gone to shit when…

The Warrior hates this puzzle and all I can think is how they’d never be able to show me on TV, I’d be cursing so much.  Godzilla buzzes in early and silently cheers whenever she hears other people’s stacks fall.  Rubina gets a stack as high as she is, 5 points if you send me the word munchkin. Tell no one else. Offer good until the next update is posted but it’s no match for Makensy’s project management experience as she takes home her first HOH! (5 points for “Win HOH” [Makensy] to Teresa!). Chelsie wants Makensy to take a shot at Godzilla, while Rubina thinks she’s target thanks to T’Kors eviction (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [T’Kor] to Joe!)

Back in JANKIE world, the houseguests watch a returned Ainsley…. straight up murder him?  I love me some BattleBots, but this AI on AI violence felt gratuitous.  Pour one out for JANKIE, I guess.  It’s Ainsley’s world now.

Gone too soon

As they return to the house, Makensy thinks she has to pick between remaining duos, Rubina (shockingly) thinks everyone else is a better target, Godzilla hopes not to get nominated, Chelsie sees SlayZeeAh as a threat since she’s never been nominated (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” [Chelsie] to Viviana!), and Kimo needs to find a way to stay off the block (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’”[Kimo] to Tessa!)

Ainsley calls them to say JANKIE was too easy on them and introduces…. the iconic ZINGBOT!  (1 point for “Mention ‘this is iconic’” [Chelsie] to Viviana!).  Some of the zings are weak, but his limerick to Rubina, telling Chelsie she hasn’t a prayer with Cam his crazy eyes song to Godzilla had me and Carol rolling (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [Matt] to Carol!). Godzilla doesn’t handle her zing well, and winds up in tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” [Godzilla] to Brian!).

New HOH Makensy tells both Kimo and Godzilla she wants the other one gone, which neither of them actually believes.   Chelsie pushes for SlayZeeAh to be a nom, bringing up the Gen Z’ers old final two with Brooklyn (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” [Brooklyn] to Viviana!) but Makensy rightly sees nominating the lazy one as losing her jury vote, and her final twos with Joseph and Quinn (1 point each for “Shown on camera in gray” [Joseph], [Quinn] to Evan and Demi!)

At the nomination ceremony, Makensy holds true to her original plan putting Godzilla and Kimo on the block (3 points for “Nominated for Eviction” [Godzilla], [Kimo] to Brian and Tessa!).  Chelsie sees getting SlayZeeAh out as a priority and needs to win the upcoming veto (1 point for “Say “I need to win Veto” to Viviana!).

So what does this do for our scores?  1st place Brian picks up 6 thanks to Godzilla’s nomination and waterworks as 2nd place Carol gains a few bonus points.  Tessa moves into a 3rd place tie with Demi thanks to Kimo’s nomination and her own bonus points. Evan drops to 5th and could fall further as Makensy drives 6th place Teresa’s pushup the standings.  Finally, 7th place Viviana has broken her tie with 8th place Joe.

  1. Brian    261
  2. Carol    145
  3. Tessa   134
  4. Demi    134
  5. Evan    131
  6. Teresa  128
  7. Viviana 110
  8. Joe       107

Big Brother 26: Champions League Update #24

Before we get started, a reminder of who has whom:

Second, 10 bonus points to both Marisa and Carol for sending me the phrases “Cringeworthy” and “Dat’s It”!

So what does this do for our scores?  2nd place Marissa has crested the 200 point plateau and continues to close the gap with me, cutting my lead down to 49 points! 4th place Carol has almost caught 3rd place Jen while Jay and Roberta stay steady in 5th and 6th place.  7th place Dalphyne has almost caught Roberta, thanks to Makensy’s HOH….and Ricky still sighs over what might have been if he’d taken Angela instead of Leah!
