|

|

|
Joseph |
SlayZeeAh kicks off the episode by ramming her head into the Veto competition doorway. (2 points for “Speak in the opening vignette” to Ricky!). Using the veto may benefit her game but it’s thrown Quinn and Joseph into a spiral. It was such a shock that it sent Godzilla to tears for the 12th time this season (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to me!) and has her wondering if the Gen Z’er would be a good final two companion.
In the HOH room, Quinn and Joseph are pissed, and the
mustachioed man needs the HOH to rally votes for him since he helped send Tucker
home (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” to me!). Opposing them is the ideal scenario for
Rubina and T’Kor – that either Rubina or Kimo win and have the votes to save
the other. That means they need Angela,
Cam, Chelsie or Leah. It’s a lot of
pressure for T’Kor (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Marissa!).
Being on the outs means eating some crow for Joseph as he
apologizes to Godzilla in the backyard.
She’s insincerely gracious to his face while gloating in the DR. He
doesn’t have a fan in Chelsie either, who sees him as a threat thanks to his
noticing how smart, social and capable both Chelsie and Brooklyn are (1
point for “Shown on camera in gray” to Jen!)
Quinn, Joseph and Leah talk about why she used the veto and she uses their Freindzone status as a weapon to get them to forgive her. 5 points if you text me the word friendzone. Message me directly. Tell no one else. Offer good until the next update is posted. They both forgive her – and they mean it – when they should be righteously pissed. She has them absolutely spellstruck.
At the AI Arena, it’s the Survivor comp where Joseph, Kimo
and Rubina have to climb, dip, duck and weave through cables to make their rope
long enough to plug into an outlet across the room. This comp ABSOLUTELY favors Rubina, who is
both small and powerful. Kimo’s bad knees
have no chance and Joseph….
It’s over quickly and Rubina saves herself from the block! (4
points for “Win special comp” to Marissa!) which leads her to both cheer
her own name (?) and to some tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Marissa!)
At the vote, Joseph’s speech is short and sweet while Kimo’s
is truly emotional, driving Makensy to tears (1 point for “Shown on camera
crying” to Dalphyne!). For the 2nd
time this season, it looks like Makensy decides her vote as she says the words. In the end, it’s a split house and Joseph is
voted out 4-3. (4 points for “Received vote against” to Roberta!), (3 points
for “Received vote against” to Jay!) and
(-2 points for “Evicted” against Roberta!) which drives SlayZeeAh to tears (1 point
for “Shown on camera crying” to Ricky!).
Following his “Pawns go home” eviction, the only thing he’s unsure
about is why Makensy flipped – and it took her a long time to do so. My bet is she’s going to use it to strengthen
her relationship with Rubina, Kimo and T’Kor.
Finally, Ainsley announces that we’ve entered the jury phase
and the AI Arena is done, leading Quinn and T’Kor in tears (1 point each for
“Shown on camera crying” to Jen and Marissa!)
So, what does this mean for our scores? The Slowdown ™ has begun as I only gained 3 points this week. Marissa takes a huge 22-point jump thanks to finding the secret/bonus points and Rubina’s AI Arena victory. Jen, Jay, Dalphyne and Roberta all stay in place but Ricky leaves Carol behind thanks to SlayZeeAh’s sudden involvement. Welcome to Big Brother!
