Second, 10 points to Carol for finding both secret points!  5 points to both Tessa and Teresa for finding one of them!

SlayZeeAh kicks off the episode by ramming her head into the Veto competition doorway. (2 points for “Speak in the opening vignette” to Carol!).  Using the veto may benefit her game but it’s thrown Quinn and Joseph into a spiral. It was such a shock that it sent Godzilla to tears for the 12th time this season (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Brian!) and has her wondering if Gen Z’er would be a good final two companion.

RUN, LEAH! RUN!

In the HOH room, Quinn and Joseph are pissed, and the mustachioed man needs the HOH to rally votes for him since he helped send Tucker home (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” to Brian!).  Opposing them is the ideal scenario for Rubina and T’Kor – that either Rubina or Kimo win and have the votes to save the other.  That means they need Angela, Cam, Chelsie or Leah.  It’s a lot of pressure for T’Kor (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Joe!).

Being on the outs means eating some crow for Joseph as he apologizes to Godzilla in the backyard.  She’s insincerely gracious to his face while gloating in the DR. He doesn’t have a fan in Chelsie either, who sees him as a threat thanks to his noticing how smart, social and capable both Chelsie and Brooklyn are (1 point for “Shown on camera in gray” to Viviana!)

Quinn, Joseph and Leah talk about why she used the veto and she uses their Freindzone status as a weapon to get them to forgive her.  5 points if you text me the word friendzone.  Message me directly. Tell no one else. Offer good until the next update is posted. They both forgive her – and they mean it – when they should be righteously pissed. She has them absolutely spellstruck.

Mephistopheles is not your name.  I know what you're up to just the same
(5 points if you get the reference. No googling!)

Speaking of no-mances, Chelsie sees Makensy getting closer with Cam and it hurts her in the soul, which T’Kor uses as a wedge to get closer to Chelsie.  They both see keeping Joseph as better for Quinn and Cam, but not for themselves.

At the AI Arena, it’s the Survivor comp where Joseph, Kimo and Rubina have to climb, dip, duck and weave through cables to make their rope long enough to plug into an outlet across the room.  This comp ABSOLUTELY favors Rubina, who is both small and powerful.  Kimo’s bad knees have no chance and Joseph….

Wrapped, tangled and trapped

It’s over quickly and Rubina saves herself from the block! (4 points for “Win special comp” to Evan!) which leads her to both cheer her own name (?) and to some tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Evan!)

At the vote, Joseph’s speech is short and sweet while Kimo’s is truly emotional, driving Makensy to tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Teresa!).  For the 2nd time this season, it looks like Makensy decides her vote as she says the words.  In the end, it’s a split house and Joseph is voted out 4-3. (4 points for “Received vote against” to Evan!), (3 points for “Received vote against” to Tessa!)  and (-2 points for “Evicted” against Evan!)  which drives SlayZeeAh to tears (1 point for “Shown on camera crying” to Carol!).

Following his “Pawns go home” eviction, the only thing he’s unsure about is why Makensy flipped – and it took her a long time to do so.  My bet is she’s going to use it to strengthen her relationship with Rubina, Kimo and T’Kor.

Finally, Ainsley announces that we’ve entered the jury phase and the AI Arena is done, leading Quinn and T’Kor in tears (1 point each for “Shown on camera crying” to Demi and Joe!)

So what does this mean for our scores?  The Slowdown ™ has begun for Brian as he gains only three points this episode, while Evan’s 7 keeps him in 2nd place.  Teresa has regained a tie with Demi, although this time for 3rd place as both women sit at 93 points.  Thanks to her finding the secret points, Tessa moves into 4th ahead of Joe and Viviana and Carol.

  1. Brian     229
  2. Evan     101
  3. Demi       93
  4. Teresa     93
  5. Tessa       87
  6. Joe          85
  7. Viviana   77
  8. Carol      64
