Wednesday’s
opening vignette highlights Chelsie (2 points for “Speak in opening vignette”
to Viviana!) as Tucker, Makensy and Cedric were nominated. Godzilla doesn’t
care that Quinn’s deepfake HOH power took over her HOH though, she just wants to
win to pay Tucker back for using the veto on her.
After the veto
meeting, Rubina climbs a chair to hug Tucker.
No, really. Knowing they don’t want to be seen as a pair, she still risked
it (for the biscuit? I don’t know these newfangled terms). Quinn, Cedric and
Kimo discussed how the Deepfake HOH work while Joseph and Leah describe how
their games work: Sleepy. “I think America’s like “Won’t these people
ever do anything?”, the Gen Z’er lazily jokes.
I’ve been looking for a nickname for her and that scene just solidified it. I’ll give credit to both Teresa and Tessa, who helped inspire this name.
Henceforth, her name shall be SlayZeeAh. (2 bonus points each to Teresa and Tessa!).
Given how little she’s done, I doubt I’ll have to use it much outside of her eviction episode.
In the house, Joseph reforms The Collective, with Quinn, Cam, Kimo, Chelsie, Cedric, T’Kor
and replacing Godzilla with Brooklyn (3 points for “Name an alliance” to
Evan!), (6 points each for “Be part of an officially named alliance to Joe,
Tessa and Viviana!), (3 points each for “Be part of an officially named
alliance to Evan and Demi!).
Note: This is
an 8-person alliance with only 13 people left in the house. Alliances comprising 70+% of the house NEVER
EVER work. EVER EVER. I’m looking at you, Unde-nine-able!
A subset of the
Pentagon, Quinn Cedric and Brooklyn talk about putting Rubina up as a
replacement nomination with the idea that if she’s got a chance to go home,
Tucker may not play as hard in the AI Arena.
It’s a decent thought but she’s not Rachel and he’s not Brendon. Neither of them is falling on their sword for
the other.
While Rubina conquers her greatest foe, items
atop the refrigerator, Tucker and Joseph cement a Final 2 deal (3 points
each for “Shown on camera making a Final Two deal to Brian and Evan!). Joseph isn’t truly bought into it, but when
someone offers an alliance or final two….you take it or become their target.
After Brooklyn
and Joseph are chosen by houseguest choice to play veto (2 points each for “Picked
for veto via houseguest choice” to Evan and Viviana!), we get a Squid Game-esque
comp where the contestants play head-to-head crossing a bridge by guessing left
or right each time. When they’re right,
they continue. When they’re wrong, they start over. Fastest time in round 1 advances directly to
the finals. Upon seeing the comp, Quinn remarks “I don’t know what this comp
is, I just hope Tucker sucks at it.” Both Makensy and Tucker remind us how
important it is that they win (1 point each for “Say ‘I need to win <<
comp name>> to Teresa and Brian!)
In Round 1,
Cedric beats Brooklyn, Makensy beats Godzilla and Tucker beats Joseph. Shocking absolutely no one, Tucker has the
fastest time and advances directly to the finals.
In Round 2, Cedric
beats Makensy to face his nemesis in the finals.
SlayZeeAh is happy
for Tucker to win as that perfectly fits her lazy game.
In the finals,
Tucker quickly dispatches Cedric and takes home the prize! (4 points for “Win
veto” to Brian!). Deepfake HOH Quinn
doesn’t take it well…
On the block
with the veto for the 2nd straight week, Tucker is obviously going
to use it on himself, right? Not so fast!
He implies to Makensy, Kimo, T’Kor and Godzilla that he might not so he can
beat Cedric in the AI arena and send him home.
When Quinn asks Tucker if he’ll use it on himself, Cam asks if he should
leave due to their beef. They laugh it
off – they’re gunning for each other, but they respect each other as competitors.
At the veto
meeting, Tucker chooses to use the veto on himself saying “Someone called me
over 15 names and wants me out? I’m sticking around another week to get him
out.” The Deepfake HOH informs us the
Rubina has been chosen as the replacement nominee (3 points for “Nominated
for eviction” to Evan!)
In his DR
session, Tucker tells us…
Makensy feels
better about competing against Rubina, but the tiny one is mighty! As long as
the competition doesn’t involve getting things from the top of the refrigerator!
Kimo, T’Kor and
Quinn spend some time talking about how they are at the bottom of the Collective
hierarchy after Quinn told them about the Pentagon. He feels it’s these three, his Visionaries,
against the world. He doesn’t feel comfortable
flipping on the Collective while Tucker is still in the house. This leaves Kimo
and T’Kor in awkward positions as they “are just numbers” to Quinn. In her DR
session, T’Kor wonders to whom Quinn is truly loyal.
Will they send
Cedric home to send a message that they’re here to play too?
In a sit-down
meeting, Tucker, Rubina, Kimo, T’Kor and Brooklyn form “The 5 Pointz” alliance (3
points for “Name an alliance” to Brian!), (3 points each for “Be part of an
officially named alliance” to Brian, Evan, Tessa, Joe, and Viviana!). Kimo
likes the alliance, T’Kor is fine with it as long as she doesn’t have to show
her true cards, but Brooklyn’s loyalties lie with the Pentagon.
Meahwhile, Godzilla
IS ON THE FLOOR LISTENING AT THE DAMNED DOOR! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? It’s not bad enough that she hears everything.
In the most
awkward moment in Big Brother history, Godzilla enters the room and begs to be “let
into the alliance”.
Tucker finally cracks
and tells her she can be part of the alliance.
I mean, what was their other option?
She busted them. If they say no,
she explodes and tells the whole house. And
so, we get a new six-person alliance called The Tanks (3 points for “Name an alliance”
to Brian!), (6 points for “Be part of an officially named alliance” to Brian!),
(3 points for “Be part of an officially named alliance” to Evan, Tessa, Joe and
Viviana!)
Brooklyn thinks
a unanimous vote to keep Cedric is the best-case scenario for her and for the
Collective. Kimo and T’Kor (who are FINALLY getting some screen time) talk
about who they trust. T’Kor feels Quinn
will flip on them the second it benefits him while Kimo doesn’t want Cedric and
Rubina together on the block. He enlists
LayZeeAh and Makensy to vote with him, T’Kor and Tucker in case Cedric loses
the AI arena comp.
At the comp, Cedric
and Makensy are raring to go and Rubina is barely taller than the buzzer. No, really.
They have to
roll 5 balls up a ramp, stopping them on a carpeted flat spot in the
middle. Then they must use smaller balls
to knock the original 5 balls out. The first one to complete it wins safety.
Makensy takes a quick lead as Cedric knocks out his own
ball costing him valuable time. Rubina catches
and briefly passes Makensy, landing all 5!
Makensy won’t be denied though, landing her 5th right after
Rubina. They each quickly knock out the
balls and Makensy hits her buzzer a half-second before Rubina does, taking home
the victory! (4 points for “Win special competition” to Makensy!). I
wonder how confident Cedric feels now.
Kimo’s worst-case
scenario has come to pass. Cedric and Rubina are on the block against each
other. In the awkward strategy session, Brooklyn says something that clearly upsets
Rubina while Cedric grabs Godzilla, Kimo and T’Kor. Rubina looks like she knows she’s going home.
For the first
time this season, it’s not an easy vote.
Makensy looks like she made up her mind as the name was coming out of
her mouth, changing from “Ru…” to “Cedric”. SlayZeeAh and Kimo are both in tears making their votes (1 point each
for “Shown on camera crying” to Carol and Jay!). The flip is happening, but
Cam, Brooklyn and Chelsie have no idea, confidently voting to evict Rubina. In
the end, Cedric is evicted by a 6-3 vote after agreeing to go up as a
pawn. (6 points for “Received vote
against” to Joe!), (3 points for “Received vote against” to Evan!), (-2 points
for “Evicted” against Joe!) and (-5 points for “Evicted after agreeing
to go up as a pawn” against Joe!)
Wow. Just…I
mean….wow. This is how Big Brother is
supposed to be played.
In his post-eviction
interview, Cedric is all class, noting that you have to trust in individuals,
even if that burns you. (1 point for “Mention ‘in this game’” to Joe!)
Julie announces
the AI Instigator power, which will be voted on by America. Whoever is chosen to be AI Instigator will
receive 4 points for “Be a secret team member. I know who I think would be the
best sneaky instigator
As we exit, we
hear T’Kor and Kimo wonder if voting out Cedric is something to be proud of, as
they begin to realize they have power to play the game.
So what does
that mean for the scores?
Brian increases
his already impressive lead to a massive 55 points thanks to Tucker and Godzilla. Demi and Teresa stay steady in 2nd
and 3rd. Thanks to T’kor’s inclusion in every alliance known to man
and Cedric’s ouster, Joe jumps to 4th place, a point ahead of both Tessa
and Viviana who are tied for 5th, and a mere 3 points ahead of Carol
who’s right behind in 7th. And though Evan is bringing up the rear,
he gained a massive 24 points this week thanks to Rubina and Joseph finally
getting some screentime!
- Brian 125
- Demi 70
- Teresa 61
- Joe 49
- Tessa 48
- Viviana 48
- Carol 46
- Evan 35
